Parish Administrator and Communications Officer

The Good Shepherd Church, Loughborough is looking to appoint a Parish Administrator and Communications Officer to support our Ministry Team.

It is hoped that this role will enhance our vision to be committed to loving Jesus, and making him known by growing, inviting and serving.

The Parish Administrator and Communications Officer will represent, and support, the Good Shepherd community and beyond, through a combination of external communications management (including developing a social media presence) and internal administration.

You will be systematic and organised in approach; creative and computer literate, looking to enable others to flourish as well as yourself.
This is an exciting time at the Good Shepherd Church, as resourcing church partners with Emmanuel Church, Loughborough and our church plant, St Barnabas in our parish, we are already looking ahead to future plants and fresh expressions.

This is a new role in our parish and offers an opportunity to share capability with a passion for the life and mission of the church in a local community.

• Hours: 12 hours per week. Specific hours negotiable with the successful candidate, which will sometimes require evening meetings.
• Salary: £9.50 per hour (i.e. £5,928 per annum) with 79 hours holiday entitlement (this post is funded for three years in the first instance)
