Midnight Communion

24th December 2018, 23:30 p.m.

Churches across Britain will be illuminated by flickering candles and filled with the sound of carols at midnight on Christmas Eve this year and the Good Shepherd Church will be one of them.

This ceremony, which is held in churches throughout the world, celebrates the birth of Christ, which is believed to have occurred at night.

The climax of the Christmas service is Holy Communion. Also known as the Eucharist or the Mass, where you’ll be invited to receive the bread and wine.

Midnight Mass is the ultimate sign that we are adjusting our lives to fit Christmas, and everyone is welcome to take part in this important event.
